The caretaker will have a good working knowledge of proper cleaning procedures and the use of cleaning agents and materials. The caretaker must work in accordance with the OH&S Act, school board policy and Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) protocol. The caretaker must have good communication skills as well as a good understanding of oral and written English. The caretaker must be able to work independently as well as effectively with others. The caretaker must have the ability to handle the physical demands of the job by using knowledge of appropriate lifting tools and techniques, ability to lift or carry items weighing 20-50 pounds, ability to reach high work areas with ladders and/or scaffolds and work at heights greater than 10 feet.Please click here to view job description for further information.Salary Start Rate-$23.60/hour, Salary Job Rate-$24.78 per hour, and benefits will be as per the C.U.P.E.
