1.0 FTE Term Grade 1 Teacher St. Mary of the Lake Catholic School in Slave Lake, Alberta is seeking a term Grade 1 teacher to join our K-3 Early Learning Team. This position has a strong possibility of continued employment into the 2024-2025 school year and beyond. Preference will be given to candidates with qualifications and experience in the following areas: Valid Alberta Teaching Certificate

Commitment to Catholic Education

An enthusiastic and committed individual who is flexible and current in best teaching practices for Early Elementary

Experience in working in inclusive environments

Experience in working in a fast-paced collaborative environment

Experience with the collaborative response model

Experience with Fountas and Pinnell and RRST assessment

Experience with assistive technology.
