Full Time Temporary Educational Assistant

St. Marguerite Catholic School is a Kindergarten to Grade 4 School

St. Marguerite Catholic School in Spruce Grove, AB is currently seeking an Educational Assistant to assist students with diverse academic and social/emotional needs.

The assignment is to begin August 23, 2024 and end June 27, 2025 of the 2024-2025 school year.

Salary range $18.90 - $26.83 per hour as per the Support Terms and Conditions of Employment.Preference Given to Candidates with the Following Qualifications: Experience utilizing strength-based, trauma informed practices

Experience working with students with diverse needs

Able to effectively deal with crisis situation; physically able to lift and/or protect

Supporting Individuals through Valued Attachments training

Mental Health First Aid or equivalent

Diploma in child/youth care, Educational Assistant Certificate and experience with Speech/Language Assistance are assetsRequired Documents: Current Resume
