cole Meridian Heights School, located in the heart of Stony Plain, AB serves approximately 630 students from all over the west region of the Divisions attendance areas. The school is one one of Parkland School Divisions (PSD) two French Immersion schools. Its also unique as its the only school in PSD that serves as a duel-track school giving the option for families in the Meridian Heights neighbourhood for full-English programming as well. Primary Responsibilities: Provide instructional leadership to our teaching teams to support the continued development of engaging learning environments for students, which includes effective assessment practices and activities that support student growth in Citizenship and Social Responsibility.

Collaborate with staff, parents, students and administrative teams from Parkland School Division to plan for the delivery of quality programs that are responsive to our students.

Manage and organize school routines and procedures that ensure a safe and caring school community.

Demonstrate creative, visionary leadership that assists our school community to provide meaningful, relevant educational opportunities.Qualifications:

As the successful candidate, you are a creative, energetic and passionate leader with a Masters Degree in Education (or other related degree), valid Alberta teacher certification and Leadership Quality Standard (LQS) Certification (achieved, in progress, or willing to complete in the required timeline). You have previous administrative experience, and a history of ongoing professional and personal development to support an instructional leadership role.
