The Golden Hills School Division invites applications for a Vice P rincipal for Drumheller Valley Secondary School in Drumheller, AB, effective the start of the 2024/2025 school year.Drumheller Valley Secondary School is a Grade 7 - 12 school that believes in Learning for Life. Our school has a diverse cultural background through our International student program along with our rural students.

Preference will be given to applicants with the following qualifications: Evidence of leading for learning and strong teaching skills

Positive interpersonal relations with staff, parents, and community members

Evidence of ability to work effectively within a collaborative decision-making environment and to promote a positive culture

Masters Degree in Educational Leadership (or equivalent) or evidence of progress towards a Masters Degree

Supportive of direction from principal and desire to advance to this roleApplicants are asked to provide a current resume with appropriate references and a one-page description of their philosophy as an educational leader, including a vision statement describing the priorities they wish to establish as Vice Principal.
