The Golden Hills School Division invites applications for Principal of two of our Tri-Campus Schools (Acme and Dr. Elliott) effective the start of the 2024/2025 school year.Dr. Elliott School is a Kindergarten to Grade 9 school in the community of Linden, Alberta. They hold the vision to continue to be the exemplary model for community-based education in Canada, with their core values being engagement, collaboration, flexibility, positivity, caring relationships, and citizenship.

Acme School is a Kindergarten to Grade 6, and Grade 10-12 school in the community of Acme, Alberta. They share the same vision and core values as Dr. Elliott School.

Both schools are part of dynamic communities with outstanding business partnerships. Acme School is scheduled to have a new school opening at the start of the 2025-2026 school year. The new school includes an Innovation Center focused on enhancing skill and trade development.

Preference will be given to applicants with the following qualifications: Masters Degree in Education

Proven success and experience as a school administrator

An understanding of key initiatives in education including site-based leadership

Evidence of educational leadership, initiative and positive interpersonal relations with staff members, parents, and community members

Proven success in developing and enhancing community partnerships

Evidence of the ability to work effectively within a collaborative decision-making environment and to promote a positive organizational culture.Applicants are asked to provide a current rsum with appropriate references and a one or two-page description of their philosophy as an educational leader, including a vision statement describing the priorities they wish to establish as Principal.
