Khalsa Schools of BC campuses are seeking multiple candidates for their Gurdwara Teacher (Priest) positions to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for teaching Sikh hymns, history, Gurbani and have a desire to educate and inspire students through engaging lessons.

We are hiring at our Khalsa School Newton Elementary, Khalsa School Old Yale Road Elementary, Khalsa School of the Fraser Valley and Khalsa Secondary School locations.

Positions available are:

-2 Gurdwara Teachers for Kindergarten to Grade 7

-1 Gurdwara Teacher for Kindergarten to Grade 8

-2 Gurdwara Teachers for Grade 8 to Grade 12

Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement Gurdwara lesson plans that align with curriculum standards

- Instruct students on speaking, reading, understanding Gurbani / hymns

- Create a positive and supportive learning environment for students of all ages

Nice-to-Have Skills:

- Experience in classroom teaching or educational settings
