Competition #3395 The Chinook School Division requires a full time (1.0 FTE) continuing Grade 5 teacher at O.M Irwin School beginning August 27, 2024 . Irwin School is a K-8 school with 390 students and 24 teachers.The Chinook School Division is proud to serve nearly 6,000 students in 60 schools, with over 1,000 collegial and student-centered teachers and support staff. Demonstrated ability to connect with youth in a student-centered learning environment in addition to having an interest or willingness to connect with students outside of the classroom;

Demonstrates a commitment to truth and reconciliation

Demonstrates a commitment to supporting diversity and inclusion

Knowledge of Balanced Literacy and Guided Math would be an asset;

Successful teaching experience or training;

Certified as a Teacher in good standing in Saskatchewan or the ability to be certified.
