ACE PLACE LEARNING CENTRE, Taber

ACE Place Learning Centre is a grade 4-12 alternative/outreach program that offers differentiated choices in education to assist students in overcoming obstacles to high school completion. Staff work collaboratively to meet the individualized educational needs of students in our in-person junior high and our module-based high school learning model. Our staff of 9 provides education to approx. 150 students.

1.0 FTE Temporary Math/Science Teacher

Assignment includes Math and Science courses

This position requires a Math and Science specialist that will oversee Gr. 10-12 module-based learning in Math and Science courses, and one class of Gr. 7-9 direct instruction per semester. Options may include PE and/or other areas of teacher interest. Candidate must be able to work well in a team environment and value collaboration, have a flexible mindset, and possess strong relationship building skills with students.
