POSITION: MIDDLE/SENIOR SCHOOL MUSIC TEACHER Terms:

Full-Time

1 year (renewable)Specific Duties:

Teaching Concert Band and Jazz Band in our Middle & Senior School (Gr 8-12)

Ability to work cooperatively with the colleagues within and across the school

Full Participation in student-learning and co-curricular activities outside of the school day

Strong working understanding of differentiated instruction as it applies to teaching in an all-boys school

Strong working knowledge of current pedagogy, sound assessment practices and learning empowered by technology Extra-Curricular:

Experience or willingness to coach will be prioritized

Demonstrated commitment to co-curricular endeavors is an expectation.

Current pastoral reference confirming that he/she is a practicing Roman Catholic

On an on-going basis, we accept teacher applications for grade levels K to 12 for our Catholic schools throughout the Greater Vancouver Area and Powell River in beautiful British Columbia. All Catholics, non-Catholics, new education grads, and experienced teachers from across Canada are strongly encouraged to apply.
