Our independent Islamic elementary and secondary school is inviting applications for a full time teacher to teach a K-2 class along with Art to K-9. Given the student-teacher ratio and mixed grades, we are looking for a progressive and creative educator who can adapt to this setting and who sees the benefit of personalized education in a multi-aged classroom.

Subjects Taught All subjects excluding Islamic Sciences and Arabic

During the Islamic Sciences and Arabic courses, to teach art classes to other classes in our K-9 school.Responsibilities Prepare courses and lessons to students according to the BC curriculum and the school's philosophy;

Teach students using a systematic plan of lessons, discussions, audio-visual presentations, and nature;

Lead students in activities to promote their physical, mental and social development.Qualifications Bachelor of Education

Valid BC Teaching Certificate
