Hiring the Position of Summer Student Facility Services Position: Summer Student Facility Services

Employment Status: Temporary, Full Time

Work Hours Schedule: 35 hours per week

Location: Brights Grove Facility Services Office or Chatham Facility Services Office

Hourly Pay Rate Range: $18.00 per hour

Start Date: May 1, 2024

Reporting to the Building Services Supervisor, and Maintenance Supervisor while working collaboratively with the Facility Services - Administrators, the successful candidate will:

? Review, and create reporting document for outstanding logs and work orders

? Migrate plans and documentation from Shared Server to internal eBASE system

? Analyze past years supplies orders and establish a reorder document and develop a custodial supplies ordering manual

? Organize the file room, sign storage cabinets, and warehouse

? Review, update, and develop department required Procedural Guidelines

? Prepare reports, memos, and training presentations

? Assist supervisors with new dispenser initiative and supply agreement

? Assist with annual building inspections (Playgrounds, designated substance, etc.)

? Prepare reports, memos, and training presentations

? Provide support for ongoing projects related to facility improvements, sustainability initiatives, and new builds

? Propose strategies to enhance productivity leveraging existing features in Microsoft Teams, and organize and consolidate documentation as requested

? Other duties as assignedQualifications and Skills

? Secondary School Diploma.

? Individuals currently enrolled in Post-Secondary Education.

? Excellent computer skills (MS Office, Teams, etc.)

? Strong communication, written and oral, and organizational skills. Must be detail oriented.

? Must have a valid drivers license and vehicle.Accommodation
