The Niagara Catholic District School Boards International Education Division is seeking International Program Assistants for the upcoming Elementary/Secondary Integration & ESL Program in St. Catharines/Niagara Falls.

Our International Program Assistants will assist in planning and supervising extra-curricular activities offered after school and on Saturdays for international students enrolled in the winter, spring, fall, as well as summer programs. Activities include day trips, cultural and recreational activities, sports, and more

Programs dates: Various start and end times beginning February 2024WHAT YOU BRING: Post-secondary student or recent graduate in Education, Linguistics, TESL, Recreation, Physical Education, or other related fields

Leadership skills and ability to relate well with 10 to 15 year old students are essential

Must be energetic, fun to be around, artistic or athletic

Prior camp experience, first aid training, and knowledge of a second language are assets WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT: Flexible hours after 1:30 p.m. (weekdays) and on Saturdays

Approximately 20 to 30 hours per week (during program dates)

Some full day and evening activities are part of the scheduleTemporary Part-time (casual) position.

RATE OF PAY: $20.00/hour
