HEAD CUSTODIAN

Temporary Assignment

Effective Immediately until the return of the incumbent.

37.5 hours per week

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM- 2:30 PMSalary starts at $26.00 at Step 1 - $ 28.87 at Step 2

Building Service Worker Certificate

Boiler Service Awareness Certificate

Building Service Management Course

Valid BC Drivers License

Fire Safety Course

Basic Computer Skills (e-mail)

Self-starter with ability to organize daily tasks and work independently and as a member of a team.

Ability to understand and carry out verbal and written instructions.

Good interpersonal and communication (oral) skills

Physical ability to perform the assigned duties (including climbing ladders and scaffolds)OR an equivalent combination of training and experienceDesirable Qualifications and Experience: Training in building trades

Previous experience in the maintenance of commercial or school buildings
