Reporting to the Head Custodian, the Custodian is responsible for the performance of a variety of cleaning and minor maintenance tasks, in and around the assigned facility, in accordance with established procedures, as set out in the Custodians Manual.The full job description is available on Inside45 for internal staff. Building Service Worker Certificate

Valid BC Drivers License

Fire Safety Course

Self-starter with ability to organize daily tasks and work independently and as a member of a team

Ability to understand and carry out verbal and written instructions

Good interpersonal and communication (oral) skills

Physical ability to perform the assigned duties (including climbing ladders and scaffolds)OR an equivalent combination of training and experienceDesirable Qualifications and Experience: Certification as Building Service Worker (Division I, III, IV) by Canadian Building Servicing Association

Previous experience in the maintenance of commercial or school buildings

Basic Computer Skills (e-mail)

Building Service Management Course

Training in building trades
