Job Description: The ideal candidate for the Assistant Principal position at Living Waters Catholic School Division will possess the ability to support a 0.5 FTE (Full-Time Equivalent) role at Holy Redeemer High School and a 0.5 FTE teaching assignment at Vanier Community Catholic School. This unique opportunity requires an individual who can seamlessly integrate administrative responsibilities with direct classroom engagement to enrich the educational experience across both institutions. The candidate should demonstrate a strong commitment to academic excellence, student well-being, and Catholic values while effectively balancing leadership duties and instructional responsibilities. Responsibilities: Academic Leadership: Collaborate with the Principals and staff to develop and implement innovative educational programs and initiatives that promote student engagement, academic excellence, and holistic growth. Curriculum Development: Work closely with curriculum coordinators and teachers to review and refine curriculum standards, instructional strategies, and assessment practices to ensure alignment with educational goals and objectives. Professional Development: Facilitate professional development opportunities for staff to enhance their teaching practices, instructional methodologies, and classroom management techniques. Student Support Services: Oversee the implementation of support services and interventions to meet the diverse academic, social, and emotional needs of students, including those with exceptionalities. School Operations: Manage day-to-day school operations, including scheduling, student discipline, facilities management, and safety protocols, to ensure a safe, orderly, and conducive learning environment. Community Engagement: Foster positive relationships with parents, guardians, and community stakeholders to promote open communication, collaboration, and partnership in support of student success. Catholic Identity: Uphold and promote the Catholic faith and values within the school community, nurturing students' spiritual growth and fostering a culture of compassion, respect, and service.
