IN-PERSON SUMMER LEARNING PROGRAM 20248 CHILD AND YOUTH WORKER (CYW) POSITIONS

Applications are being accepted for the Windsor-Essex Catholic District School Boards Summer Learning Program 2024, supported by Ministry funding.

The IN-PERSON SUMMER LEARNING PROGRAM will be offered for elementary students and will be hosted at the following school sites: St. Louis, Notre Dame, St. Teresa of Calcutta, St. Angela, H.J. Lassaline, Stella Maris and St. Pius X Catholic Elementary Schools.

The CYWs primary responsibility will be to facilitate preventative proactive programming focused on social emotional learning and self-regulation. Board approved programming will be provided. Each CYW will support students at one school location. The program will operate from Monday to Friday, beginning July 2, 2024 and ending July 19, 2024 from 9:00 am - 2:00 pm daily.Remuneration is set at $37.42 per hour. CYWs will be paid for 5 hours a day (9:00am -2:00pm) for a total of 70 hours for the entire program.

Qualifications: CYW Diploma/Degree required Previous experience with students with behavioural, social and emotional challenges would be an asset Previous leadership experience preferred Candidates are to submit their application on or before 12:00 p.m. on June 3, 2024 via the Apply to Education website/Easyconnect.
