Cleaners We are currently accepting applications for the Substitute Cleaners. Positions on the Substitute Cleaner roster are used to replace permanent staff that are away on vacation, sick leave or professional development. Applying to this posting is your first step in starting your career with Winnipeg School Division. You will be assigned a 6-month term that will be renewed until you are placed in a permanent position. Substitute Cleaner positions are:

full-time (40 hours/week)

Monday to Friday

various day and evening shifts (8 hours shifts with various starting times from 6:00 am with the last shift starting at 3:00 pm)

6-month terms with the possibility of renewal and placement into a permanent position

dispatched daily and located at various schools and buildings throughout Winnipeg School Division

Qualifications:

Minimum 1 year of experience in the field of building cleaning maintenance along with knowledge of and exposure to commercial cleaning products or equipment preferred.

Valid Class 5F Manitoba Driver's Licence and access to a reliable vehicle.

Ability to read, write and speak English in order to identify and interpret oral and written documentation relating to the job requirements, methods, procedures and policies of Winnipeg School Division and communicate effectively with the supervisors, school staff, students and visiting public.How to apply:
