Required Education and Recommended Knowledge, Qualifications and Experience Must hold, or be eligible for a(n) NWT Teaching Certificate

Bachelor of Education Degree

Bachelor Degree in Mathematics, Science or Engineering is an asset

Knowledge of and experience in the effective use of technology as a teaching and learning tool

Experience teaching in northern communities is an asset

The understanding of Indigenous cultures is an asset

Vulnerable Sector Check is a requirementRequired Skills and Abilities Ability to teach senior high school mathematics at the Grade 11 - 12 level, including Calculus

Ability to work as a team member in planning, delivery and assessment of programs and students

Organizational skills, initiative and a strong team focus
