Among the draped jackets and silky tops, there's also a pair of killer jeans (pictured left) cut for comfort and designed for easy dressing.
LegaWear is an online store that facilitates custom tailoring for people of all body types and sizes, with a particular emphasis on suiting and formal wear for people with disabilities. All their garments are made to order in Phuket, Thailand by highly skilled and experienced tailors. Their site is a must-visit if you're staring down an important corporate internship, your first day working at a serious firm - or just your sister's wedding!
Ag Apparel specializes in highly customizable, adaptable, and most of all very pretty clothing for women. With made-to-order and design-your-own options, the clothing lives up to Ag's claim to be "clothing without boundaries". Designer Jordan Silver was inspired to start the company by her aunt, Janet, who had ALS. Her feminine clothes are universally accessible, and five percent of all profits from the Janet Top (pictured right) are donated to the Spastic Paraplegia Foundation.
IZ Adaptive Clothing is a line of grown up, classic pieces for men and women, cut and fashioned exclusively for seated wearers. Canadian designer Izzy Camilleri's couture has been gracing the famous figures of Nicole Kidman, Jennifer Lopez, Angelina Jolie, Reese Witherspoon, Catherine Zeta-Jones - among others - since 1984. Her adaptive clothing is mad classy and faithful to the designer's famous penchant for luxurious fabrics and timeless shapes. WheelieChix Chic is owned by mom of two Louisa Summerfield; the clothes are by Swedish designer Amelia Ursache, a former Elle Magazine Designer of the Year. Their women's clothing line is extensive and versatile, offering everything from girly dresses to hot lingerie, trendy jeans to high-fashion outerwear, and a range of functional purses and backpacks for wheelchair users. By far the most complete store on our list, just about everything in their collection is work-appropriate, professional, and just plain pretty. jp
